I had a mixed experience at The Angel Hotel. The location is fantastic, being right next to Cardiff Castle and central to everything I needed. However, the rooms felt very dated and could use a serious upgrade. While the breakfast was enjoyable, the overall impression fell short of my expectations, especially given the price point.
